More Book Updates

Okay, I had no idea what I wanted to write about today, so I decided to give you a little journal(ish) writing update. (also, I wanted to apologize for having so many posts last week, that was a little crazy. 😆)

Alright, so, last week on Saturday I finished editing the first draft of my third novel, the sequel to Fallen Ashes (yes, I know, I have no title for it yet, I’m still searching 😅). So now I’m in the second draft, and I have a dilemma: To understand most of what I write about in the second book, you need to read the first. And, since the first isn’t published yet. It was either spend lots of time editing this second one (which is 102k+ words long, like the other one), or put it aside until I have an idea about what to do with the first, and write something different.

So, guess what? I started a spy/mystery/thriller/suspence/fiction book!!! It’s supposed to be shorter than 80k words, but I don’t know yet. 😬 I’m honestly trying to do more plotting for this one, but it’s not going so well. 😅✍️

Anyways, a little update on Fallen Ashes, I have gotten no replies, yet. But there is around a month left for the publishers to reply, so I’m crossing ny fingers (and praying, of course, because that’s gonna do a lot more than crossing my fingers).

Okay, I just realized this was really short, and I want to do better next week, so shout out in the comments. Let me know what you want me to write about, because my brain has become pretty spy-infested. 🫣🤭
