And here I was thinking I wouldn’t have enough characters with theme songs to fill up this post.

And now, my awesome special news:

I’m writing a short story!!!

And yes, this means that I am putting Into The Woods on pause (the reason for this is that I have some major plot holes to work through and I need to so some serious brainstorming, but right now I feel that I’m too close to the story to be able to do this without just circle-brainstorming. So I’m taking a break to give me some space from the project and stretch different areas of my brain).

Good News: This short story will not only be available to you (eventually, hehe, after I've written it) but, it will be in third person (the POV I have the most trouble with, but since the book I’m currently reading is in third, past like this short story will be, I think I can Benjamin Franklin it and make it thought (that is a Ydubber joke, I'm sorry, everyone who is not a student at the Young Writer’s Workshop, it would take too long to explain.)). I am also plotting this short story, which, if you know anything about me, will be a big surprise. I was a panster (not a plotter) if there ever was one. Plotting is very foreign to me. So, this will be a good exercise.

Also! I will be designing cover art, character profiles, and collages for this story to share with you. I want you to be as excited about this story as I am.

I believe it has potential.

Oh! Haha. I still haven't told you what this story is about yet, have I?

This short story is a cyberpunk/science-fiction dystopian tale about a girl named Zephyr who has to stand up against her leaders and help civilization move forward. (That is a very rusty hook, I’ll be revising it as time goes on)

Well, here is a working synopsis that I have thrown together in less than five minutes that will probably not be valid by the end of the plotting process, but whatever:

There are no more pure-bloods. A great prophecy has riddled Zephyr’s world with fear, forced them to split nations, divide families, anything to keep the prophecy child from being born, the child that is said to destroy human civilization. The moment Zephyr begins to think her brother is the prophesied murderer, her world falls apart. Will he really be the end to the world she knows? Will he kill them all? After Her father was taken from her for being too pure, she’d lost all stability in her life. Her last string was Kanon, the person who stood up for her, helped keep her temper inside, forced her to be tough, or face the bullies with raw hands. Will he be lost to her too?

Thank you!

The End.
