February’s here! (+ a little photo collection)

Hey everyone, we made it to February! I would be more excited if it felt more like winter. 😢Here, in Northern British Columbia, there’s usually at least a foot of snow. And, guess what, there’s none. We got rain in January. But, who am I kidding, this is my birthday month, so I can’t be too picky. However, *looks at you from the corners of my eyes* it’s also a leap year. And the daily devotional I’m reading doesn’t have a page for the 29th. 😦 Yet still *lifts a finger with majestic swagger*, The Lord loves me (and you, Dear Reader) even if you/I don’t have a devotional page for that day.
Now, back to business. During the end of December and January, I took it upon myself to write the sequel to the novel I’m querying with, Falling Ashes. I’m hoping to be done the rough draft by the end of February, which is kinda scary. The pending title right now is Chosen Souls. However, I am still not entirely sure on that. (Let me know in the comments if you have any novel titles that would match a science-fiction, thriller.)
Anyways, you shouldn’t catch me lying, so I won’t start now. As I said in the title, I'd give you a little photo collection. I’m borrowing my Oma’s camera, and the sky and my mom’s flowers couldn’t be better models. Let’s see how this looks….

Okay! It's not too bad, what do you, Dear Reader, think? I think it's a really pretty Lupin, a picture taken from Hill Far Away Flower Farm's Lupin rows. (They usually turn out to all be purple, so I made sure to catch this one when I had the chance)
Now...Next...:

Ah ha! Lilies are so nice, but their pollen sometimes stains their petals, and they get bruised easily. Last year, there were Rose Lilies in the garden, but I failed to get pictures of them. *hangs head in shame* This year, I will, promise.

We should name this one: When the trees are your goals, and it feels like you'll never get there. I have good news for you, for as long as God wills it, you'll get there. You'll climb the tree and see the view from the top. And what a majestic view it will be. ;)

(Please ignore the ugly post behind him, and just focus on those eyes. XD 😽) I just couldn't not get this little guy in a photo. I'm sure at least one of you can agree. I absolutely love the focus job in this, too.

Can someone please tell me it doesn't look terrible? I'm sure I'm not the only one who's obsessed with sunsets. It is golden hour a lot around my home, and it usually looks like this, especially during spring and summer and winter and fall *proves point with a mischievous smile on face*. This photo was taken later in the year, you can tell because the sun is low on the Western horizon, closer to the equator. Because I live in the northern hemisphere, near the arctic(ish), when October and November hit, the sun gets real low in the Southern sky, and makes really pretty sunsets. (Just a random info dump.)
Anyways, I really hoped you like that. It's new to me, like I said in my earlier post 'Starting New', I'm not really sure how to do this. So, I'm winging it. I hope you, Dear Reader, enjoyed reading this. Thanks again. (Don't forget to sign up to my mailing list so you know when new posts come out.:) )
Until next time, God Bless,
-Claudia
I love your photo of the fuzzy kitty with "those eyes" looking so intently!
You really captured something here, Claudia! ❤️
