Every Song Comes To An End

Dear Reader,
I didn't start this blog thinking we'd ever get too 100 posts, much less in a year and a half. But hey, here we are. And it's the end--of many things.
Highschool is demanding more and more attention, writing is calling to be the focus. Life goes on.
It's almost like we're standing on the edge of this big cliff, looking down into the rest of our lives. The struggles and the success. We're teens, guys. We're the 'big kids.'
We all ask where all the time went, but I don't think that's a valid question at all. I think the question we should be asking is 'how much more time are we going to waste?'
Because one day you're going to look back on the years you lived, all those years you spent writing. And you're probably going to think 'man, how naive I was ...' But that's a good thing. Teen years are meant for nothing but being naive and thinking big things. And, one day, maybe soon, school will end and you'll move on.
Because every book must close.
Every season must pass.
Every song comes to an end.
And nostalgia is great because it reminds you of the good old days. You're living the good old days right now.
There's time for nostalgia and laying in bed at night wondering where life went later.
But your song's not over yet, dear soul.
You have some nights left in the good old days.
'But all I say is gardens grow,
And time can't help but pass.'
~Claudia
