A Checklist: Creating The Perfect Collage

If you've been around here long enough, you'll know that I love collages. I've posted one in this post for you to go review, if you'd like.

Besides that, I've made a collage for almost every one of my main characters, I've made one for Brandon Sanderson's Mistorn: The Final Empire book, which I currently have as my wallpaper on my iPhone.

So, if you want to be the person to make collages for your thingies, here is a checklist of all teh photos you should put together that will being out the real aesthetic and feel of your character/book/tv series/movie/whateveryoufreakingwant.

(Note: I take all my photos from Pinterest, which is a fancy way of saying I head over there and screenshot a whole bunch of photos then crop them and put them in Canva so I can make a nice collage with lots of text and fancy things and stuff like that)

Number 1:

One photo of eye color. For a character collage, this would mean their eye color, but for a book collage, it would probably be the book cover, or the eye color of the Main Character.

Number 2:

One of two photos showing that character's comfort clothes--or that book's style of clothing.

Number 3:

Between three and five photos of their world/home.

Number 4:

Five photos that are there purely for aesthetic.

Number 5:

At least three magic system photo.

Number 6:

A happy or sad photo depending on if that character is happy or sad.

Number 7:

A photo that shows their living situation.

Number 8:

A photo describing the hierarchy of that world.

Number 9:

Between one and three photos of that main character with friends/people (if they have friends or people they hang out with).

Number 10:

A photo of something really important to them (a pet, a blanket, a book, anything).

Number 11:

A good two or three photos that match your color scheme and world.

Number 12:

One of two photo showing their hobby or sport or job (or the hobbies/sports/jobs that the world has that the Main Character interacts with).

That's all I have for now. If you make a collage because of this post, make sure to write a comment and post it down there so I can see how it turned out. <3
