Violet Petals - A Poem

And violet petal fell,

so all was forgot.

The grounds littered with blue,

no lesson was taught.

For loss teaches us grief,

so evil is it.

But what else can I do?

No fire was lit.

Was caught inside a trap,

I couldn’t get out.

God whispered in my head,

‘Oh why do you doubt?

‘Your story’s not yet told,

such things you will do.

For here I am beside you,

just trust I am true.’

The End
