A walk in the park.
Time.
A prayer before bed.
Time.
An ad you scroll past.
Time.
A pasture’s grass raising.
Time.
Sometimes, I’ll forget just how much time matters.
We don’t know if there will be a tomorrow. We don’t know if there will be a day after tomorrow.
People will say, ‘Live like there's no tomorrow because there might not be,’ but that’s not true.
‘Tomorrow’ is a word people use to refer to the day that comes next.
But there will still be time after tomorrow ends. Say, tomorrow is the last day.
‘Live like there is no more time.’
No,
Live like there’s an eternity waiting for you when the tomorrows run out.
Put down your phone.
Open your Bible.
Of all people, I understand.
It took me a while to get into a routine of reading my Bible daily. And I’m only in John right now.
But you know what?
Ever since I have, I’ve been praying deeper and learning about Jesus and how he reacts in different situations.
I think I like this bit the best:
The Pharisees and scribes bring Jesus a woman who’s committed adultery. And they ask him if he agrees with the Law of Moses and that they should stone women who commit such things as she had. He replies, ‘Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.’ Eventually, all the people who had brought the woman to Jesus left. And he turns and asks her where they’ve gone and if anyone had condemned her. She tells him that no one had. So Jesus says: ‘Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.’
This is the kind of Jesus we’re meeting in heaven one day—the one who judges with right judgment and teaches with kindness and strength.
Jesus could have turned away from this woman, knowing her sins and faults.
But He took the time to love her and remind her that she’s a sinner, but so is everyone else.
It will take time to understand what God wants you to do.
It will take time to know what to do next.
It will take time for you to come to God and rest in him.
Sometimes, I know what people are telling me about, usually things related to mental and physical health, but it’s always good to hear it.
Hear it from someone else’s perspective, which is why I’m here.
You’re little Gospel second perspective. :)
I hope you learned a little today, and that you are good to yourself and know that God is with you forever and always.
Stay faithful.
Claudia.
Very well said Claudia! ❤️
